Why does discussing sex with children make people feel uncomfortable?

Its not like its a bad thing or unnatural.. why does it make people feel awkward?

Well isnt it better to inform a child that is curious and asking questions? I think it would be better to be straight up about it rather than letting them come to their own conclusions.. or worse..

because by introducing a mature topic like that to young children does a lot to rob them of their childhood innocence. dont get me wrong, i'm all for it at the right age but, 10 is not the right age. not even close.

like it or not, though, most parents dont actually parent anymore.
