I played this game once before, but I thought I might play it again for the new contacts.

1. I am a doctor, work in ED. I live in New Zealand. I am originally from Bangladesh, moved to New Zealand 10 years ago.

2. When I was little a soldier once pointed a gun at me and my younger brother. It was scary. I had more scary experiences as a child. I saw a man hanged himself, he was hanging from the ceiling. Once I accidentally entered into an under construction building and found a guy in his late 20s having sex with a 13 yr old boy. I knew both of them, I was scared.

3. I was least demanding among my siblings, so I think I missed out on many toys and stuff. I don't regret though. And I am still the same.

4. But I had a wonderful childhood. I loved to play soccer, cricket and table tennis. I loved to read, listen to music, watch movies and spend time with friends. And I loved to spend time alone thinking such things as is there really a God?

5. In med school my close friends jokingly (and affectionately) used to call me 'bullu'. It means little boy's...... One of their wives later started calling me 'bullu bhai' without knowing what it meant :). One of my colleagues here calls me Jack, because she thinks aftab is too hard to remember.

6. I drink Earl Grey tea in the morning and rest of the day I keep drinking coffee. I like black coffee. I love to try different kind of foods and I have many favorites, but I love Bangladeshi food most.

7. I like all sorts of movies, from scary to comedy to cartoons. Almost 90% of the time I watch only three channels: Discovery, National geographic and Food TV (if I ever quit my profession I want to be a chef).

8. I listen to all kinds of musics, but Bangla and Ghazals are my favorites.

9. I read almost anything. My favorite poets are Tagore and Jeebananda Das.

10. My cat's name is Muffin. She is a tabby, one and half years old. She sleeps in my bed and wakes me up at 6am every morning by walking all over me.

11. I am very loyal to my friends, more than I am to my own relatives.

12. Two of my most favorite persons live far away from me and incidentally they share the same first name. I miss them, but I am happy with life. I think life is beautiful.

Oriental Magpie Robin (Copsychus saularis )

The Oriental Magpie Robin Copsychus saularis is a small passerine bird that was formerly classed as a member of the thrush family Turdidae, but is now more generally considered to be an Old World flycatcher, family Muscicapidae. It is also known as Oriental Magpie Robin, Straits Robin and Magpie.

This magpie-robin is an insectivorous species which is a resident breeder in tropical southern Asia from Bangladesh, Pakistan, India and Sri Lanka east to Indonesia, south China and the Philippines.

The Oriental Magpie Robin is found in open woodland, cultivated areas and around human habitation. It nests in a hole, often in a wall, laying 3-6 eggs which are incubated by both sexes.
This species is 19cm long, including the long cocked tail. It is similar in shape to the smaller European Robin, but is longer-tailed. The male has black upperparts, head and throat apart from a white shoulder patch. The underparts and the sides of the long tail are white. Females are grey above and greyish white. Young birds have scaly brown upperparts and head.

The Oriental Magpie Robin is a common and tame bird. It is terrestrial, hopping along the ground with cocked tail. The male sings loud melodic notes from the top of a perch during the breeding season
Magpie Robin is a common bird in Bangladesh. It is found all over the country. It's local name (in Bangla) is Doyel or Doel (Bengali: দোয়েল). This bird has been designated as the National Bird of Bangladesh. Picture of this bird appeares on different currency notes of Bangladesh. Doyel Chatwar (meaning: Doyel Square) named after this bird is a prominent landmark in Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.
